Erik's training has been the most helpful and applicable of all the trainings that I've had made available to me.
Who better to teach this topic than someone who has
I will definitely add the knowledge I've learned today to my tool box in order to better serve youth and families.
- Amy Jedele, Care Manager
I attended one of Erik's trainings in 2013 to renew my Behavioral Assistant Certification.
This was the best training that I have ever attended.
Not only was it informative, but it was interactive as well. Erik brought his own personal experience into the mix and brought real life situations to the table for the class to work through, act out, and resolve.
- Francine Weiss, Behavioral Assistant
I first met Erik in 2012 as an attendee of one of his trainings for Rutgers University. He struck me as a very knowledgeable, relatable, and charismatic speaker. I was lucky enough to establish continued contact with Erik after that training.
Erik's advice, support, and knowledge of the system of care were instrumental as I began and continue to build my career.
- Andrea Mendez, MSW, LSW
Erik is very engaging as a presenter. He made the training fun and comfortable.
- Family Advocate, Essex County
You were such a gift to all of us!
-Robyn Klim, Child Study Team Supervisor
This was a great training. I'm happy that I registered.
- Intern, Care Management Organization
I really enjoyed Erik's training and the way he engaged me with his message.
Thank you for sharing your experience.

-Dianna Batalla, School Psychologist
Informative workshop – This is much needed by classroom teachers so they could implement appropriate strategies.
-Susan LaDeau, PreSchool Intervention and Referral Team
Very impressive! Helped in knowing what help is out there and exactly what they can do for children.
-Nicole Edwards, Speech Language Specialist – Preschool Intervention & Referral Specialist Team
This Professional Development gave a clear and concise look at how to work with children who have challenges.
-Jennifer Alphonse, Preschool Intervention Specialist
Erik made the mundane more interesting.
-Siri Vokes, Elementary Guidance Counselor
Life experiences were a good way to relate material to our professional world.
-Nicole Roccato, Guidance Counselor
Great Ideas! Grassroots approaches and clinical information all in one.
Great Job!! Thank you!
- Heather Liconich, Middle School Social Worker
When Erik became my student in High School I watched him struggle through circumstances beyond his control, circumstances greater than the average person could handle. He has gone through his own difficulties, but with a lot of hard work and dedication, he has come out on top. I am proud of the man I know today. He goes out of his way to help others in similar situations as the ones he fought through himself.
If there is even the slightest possibility of making things better, Erik will make it happen.
- Nichole Cambria-Mattaliano
Former High School Teacher
Erik was definitely one of the most influential people in my life. I really can't thank him enough for helping me out. It was good to be able to talk to someone who wouldn't think I was crazy.
Erik was really a good influence for me and I really can't thank him enough.
- Youth, age 15
Thank you for all of the support, guidance, and inspiration that you provided to my son. I know that he will never forget it.
- Parent of a 15 year old
Thanks again for hanging in there when no one else would.
-Parent of a 10 year old
I met Erik at a Youth Partnership Conference when I was 16 years old. At this point in my life, I was headed down the wrong track. Bad friends, bad attitude, failing school. Everything you could expect from a "troubled" teen. Erik took an interest and decided to mentor me through this period of my life. Since then I have graduated high school, started attending college, gotten two jobs and am continuing to build on my direction in life; and a lot of that was due to Erik's continuing help and support in my life.
He really is amazing and inspiring; and I couldn't be more grateful for meeting him.
- Youth, age 19
Thank you for all your support over the past few months. It means more than we could possibly say!
- Parents of a 13 year old
